Lithium salts have greater resistance to repeated freezing and thawing cycles and remains sterile over the entire shelf-life due to the bacteriostatic activity of lithium towards many microorganisms. This make Meridian’s sequencing grade ultra-pure nucleotides are ideal for the most sensitive high-quality assays.
We also offer ready-to-use general grade nucleotides, sets and mixes, supplied as sodium salts in purified water at pH 7.5, also enzymatically synthesized from quality raw materials, using highly specific production systems. The manufacturing process eliminates impurities and PCR-specific inhibitors such as modified nucleotides, tetraphosphates, and pyrophosphates commonly observed in other commercially available dNTP products (>99% purity determined by quantitative HPLC). This make Meridian’s general grade nucleotides ideal for the most fast PCR and general qPCR and LAMP assays.
Meridian offers diagnostic manufacturers the complete solution with over 3,000 antigens and antibodies covering more than 500 diseases and an extensive range of specialty qPCR/RT-qPCR master mixes and molecular enzymes all manufactured under ISO13485 regulations.
