Andy Kitzmiller

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Bioscience, Andy Kitzmiller leads a global organization of more than 800 employees dedicated to advancing diagnostic and life science solutions that improve health and well-being around the world.

Since joining Meridian in February 2022, Kitzmiller has helped align the company’s operational and financial strategies, strengthen execution, and define the four strategic pillars that continue to guide Meridian’s long-term value creation plan. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, partnering closely with teams across Meridian, its shareholders, investors, and affiliates—including SD Biosensor and Bionote—to drive growth, integration, and innovation.

Kitzmiller’s leadership philosophy is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and disciplined execution. He is deeply committed to cross-functional teamwork and to connecting strategic vision with meaningful outcomes for employees, customers, and shareholders alike.

Earlier in his career, Kitzmiller held senior finance and operational leadership roles at Hillenbrand, Milacron, and GE Aviation (now GE Aerospace), and began his professional journey in Deloitte’s audit practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Across his career, he has been passionate about developing teams, delivering sustainable results, and building global organizations that thrive through both performance and purpose.
