Andy Hiar

Andy Hiar serves as Vice President, Diagnostics Clinical Affairs at Meridian Bioscience.

With more than 20 years of experience with in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) device clinical trial leadership and execution, Andy leads the company’s global Clinical Affairs team.

Since joining Meridian in 2024, Andy has brought an innovative and creative approach to Clinical Affairs, coupled with strong leadership and strategic vision, he has positioned his team to support Meridian’s new product development initiatives.

Throughout his career, he has led Clinical Affairs teams in delivering successful clinical trials to support FDA, CE-Mark and IVDR product registrations.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of St. Francis and a Master of Public Health degree from Benedictine University.
